Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Burge Corporation, including its Burge Construction and Burge Energy divisions ("Burge," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information through www.burgecorporation.com and the domains that forward to it (the "Site").
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry through the contact form, we collect the division you select and the details you provide: first and last name, company, email address, phone number, the systems you are interested in, whether the site is new construction or an existing building, project location and project details. If you email or call us, we collect what you choose to share.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its hosting provider automatically receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. The Site uses cookies and similar browser storage that are needed for it to work (for example, to load and submit the contact form) and for site analytics provided by our hosting provider and by Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure how visitors use the Site (for example, pages viewed and how visitors arrived). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking for advertising.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and route it to the right Burge team.
- To evaluate, scope and communicate with you about a potential project.
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers. Companies that host the Site and process form submissions on our behalf (Wix.com), a website analytics service (Google Analytics), and services that deliver website fonts (Google Fonts). They may use information only to provide services to us.
- Within Burge. Among the Burge teams that need it to respond to you.
- Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Burge, our clients or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, manage any resulting project and meet our legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations. We then delete or de-identify it.
How we protect information
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and form submissions are delivered only to the Burge team that handles your division. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You can choose not to submit the contact form and reach us by phone instead. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, although parts of the Site, including the contact form, may not work without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
If you are a California resident, you may have the right, subject to certain exceptions, to: know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it; request a copy of it; request that we correct or delete it; and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email info@burgecorp.com or call (949) 492-1175. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information we have. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track visitors across other websites or sell or share personal information, the Site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Links to other websites
The Site links to outside sources, such as government agencies and industry publications cited on our Sources page. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
