Commercial solar installation in Orange County.
Rooftop, carport and ground-mount solar for developers and commercial owners, designed and built by a builder that has worked in Southern California since 1977.
Solar designed with the structure it sits on.
Burge Energy is part of a general contractor, so the roof, the carport structure and the electrical work are reviewed by the same company that installs the array. That matters most on existing buildings.
Rooftop solar
Arrays on commercial and industrial roofs, with a structural review of the roof before layout is final.
Solar carports
Canopies over parking that generate power, shade cars and can carry EV chargers.
EV charging →Ground-mount arrays
Ground-mounted systems where land is available and roofs are not a fit.

Questions owners ask first.
Straight answers before you call.
Is solar required on new commercial buildings in California?
Under the 2022 California Energy Code, most new commercial buildings must include solar and battery storage, with the requirement taking effect January 1, 2023.17
Can my existing roof hold solar?
That depends on the roof structure and its remaining life. Burge reviews the structure before the layout is final, and a carport or ground mount is an option when the roof is not a fit.
Do you help with solar tax credits?
Burge Energy does not apply for or secure incentives. We point owners to the programs worth a look on our incentive resources page, and your tax advisor confirms eligibility.
Do you install solar on new construction and existing buildings?
Both. Burge Energy works on new builds alongside the structure and on existing sites, phasing work around tenants and operations.
