DAN BURGE

    Dan is president of Burge Corporation and has been in the construction industry since 1970.  Dan grew up in Central California and relocated to Southern California where he completed high school and started college.  After military service, Dan returned to college where he majored in business administration.  Upon completing his education Dan worked in all phases of the construction industry leading to obtaining his B-1 general contractors license in 1972.
    Dan has taken Burge Corporation from a remodeling and custom homebuilding company to our current strong position in the commercial, industrial, seismic retrofit and telecommunications markets.
    Dan’s ability to diversify and his understanding of the cyclical nature of the construction industry has kept Burge Corporation a viable and progressive building concern.

    This solid foundation and a healthy construction market has given Dan the motivation to take Burge Corporation to its next level of success.


BOB BUETTNER

    Bob started in the construction industry in 1973.  His background originated in concrete and wood frame construction fulfilling positions as carpenter, superintendent and general contractor before coming on board with the Burge Team in 1983.  His attributes include excellent organization abilities, versatility, and adherence to detail in both business and mechanical function. Bob is a proven leader on Burge Corporation’s management staff which makes Bob the number one man of Burge Corporation’s management staff.  Bob’s diverse skill set provides the flexibility to fulfill the position of project manager, superintendent, cost estimator, expert witness or a combination thereof.  

 

 

 


BRAD HOWE

    Brad started his construction career in 1977.  A  year later he started working for Dan at Burge Corporation.  Brad learned construction from the bottom up at Burge Corporation, and now he is the firm’s senior employee.  As our number one field manager, he is responsible for controlling our most demanding jobsites.  Brad is a hands-on manager, with boundless energy and a keen knowledge of mechanical and structural systems.  He has an excellent work attitude and a thorough understanding of the role of all the participants that make up the construction team. His ability to interface with clients, tenants, sub contractors, and vendors make Brad very pleasant to work with.  Brad is currently a general manager of our field operations.  Brad lives in San Clemente with his wife and two children.


GARY HAUN

    Gary began his career in construction in 1979 after earning his degree in architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  Gary has performed all phases of project management from forward planning and design to construction documents, construction management and field supervision.  His architectural training allows him to fully understand and manage architecturally sensitive projects.    Gary’s background includes extensive work in residential and telecommunications design and development.  Since joining Burge Corporation in 1999,  Gary has been involved in project management and estimating for many projects including  telecommunications, tenant improvements, seismic retrofit, historic relocation and tilt-up construction.  Gary is the Leed accredited professional for Burge Corporation.  Gary has lived in San Clemente with his wife and two children since 1987.


 

LISA GULDNER

   Lisa is Burge Corporation's controller.  She brought to our firm over 20 years of related experience.  Her implementation of organized office procedures has created an efficient and effective office environment.  Lisa works along with our accounting firm to keep our financial status up to date and accurate.  Under Lisa’s careful guidance, our firm is focused on maintaining a sound and secure financial position, which is of primary importance and comfort to our clients, bonding company and auditors.  Since her inception with our firm, audits, accounting, invoicing, billings, payroll, and filing have become routinely smooth.  Her presence has been an improvement to our organization and the clients we serve.

 

 


SHARON BURGE

    Sharon is Dan’s Sister who acts as our Girl Friday.  She processes all incoming documentation, overseeing all systems from accounting records to outgoing correspondence and payments to vendors.  She brings 25 years of secretarial and accounting skills to Burge Corporation.  Sharon has resided in Laguna Beach for the past 37 years.  She has served Burge Corporation for over 11 years.

 

 

 

 

 


BRET BURGE

    Bret graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in Business Management. He is the newest addition to the team, working with the superindendent on various projects from field work to in office matters. Bret's tasks include: creating and managing Burge Corp's design, social media, marketing, laboring in the field and assisting with various items in and outside of the office. We are glad to welcome a younger addition to the company to bring in fresh ideas to Burge Corporation.
